Size Guides

Surf Coo fleeces are designed with a boxy fit and are intended to be worn a little oversized. Please use the guide below to help you find your fleece size using your dress/shirt size.

For reference, I (5’5, UK 10) like to wear women's S and Luis (6’1, 41” chest) likes to wear men's L. The difference between the women's and men's fleeces is that the women's sizes are minus 6cm on the body length, minus 2cm on the waistband width and minus 3.5cm on the sleeve length. For tall women, I recommend choosing the men's version.

The sweatshirts have the same sizing as the fleece pullovers.

Below are the measurements of the fleece- for the circumferences on the widths below, double the measurements. Please use the guide below to help you find your fleece size using a pullover you own in a similar oversized style, or your body measurements. If you are using body measurements, please keep in mind that you want the fleece to be several centimetres wider than your body, particularly in the chest measurement as the fleece is not designed to be very stretchy as it is lined in the upper body.

Note that the length is measured from the back, not the front and begins at the collar/body seam and ends at the bottom hem.

* The sleeve length is measured to the end of the cuffs from the shoulder point, which is 7cm above the sleeve seam as it’s a dropped shoulder style.

Requests:

I am happy to accommodate small changes to lengths, so if for example you are tall + slim or short + wide, you could order the size with the correct widths but ask for plus or minus a few centimetres on the lengths. You can write these requests in the notes box in the cart when you checkout, or otherwise please don’t hesitate to email me. Please note, I can't accept size exchanges or returns on fleeces with custom alterations to the sizing. Please only ask for adjustments to the size if you are confident you understand the measurement table above.
