Size Guide

Surf Coo fleeces have a boxy, unisex fit. 

Please use the charts below to help you choose a size. These measurements are approximate, please allow a couple centimetres of tolerance. 

For the circumferences on the widths below, please double the measurements.

For reference, I (5’5, UK 10) like to wear S and Luis (6’1, 41” chest) likes to wear L.

As I sew every fleece especially for each person, I super appreciate you using the size chart to try and get the right size first time. However if you order a fleece and it doesn’t fit right, not to worry! I’d love everyone to have their perfect fit, just send me an email and I can help you out.

I am happy to accommodate changes to lengths, so if for example you know you have long arms, I can add on an extra eg 5cm to the sleeve length. Or if you are very tall and narrow, you could for example order a S or M but ask for an extra 7cm on the body and sleeve length. You can write these requests in the notes box in the cart when you checkout, or otherwise please don’t hesitate to email me.


Wash Guide

Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C. Do not use bleach or softener. Do not iron or tumble dry. For extra care and longevity, machine wash inside out.
    
I sew my fleeces with extra care to make sure they last as long as possible. I hope everyone takes special care of their handmade fleece, however I appreciate sometimes accidents happen. If you accidentally damage your fleece, please don't hesitate to reach out! I've helped people with puppy-bite holes, campfire spark holes and I am happy to send out bits of fabric or poppers. I love to do my best to help with repairs and hope everyone can enjoy their fleece for a really long time!

When will my fleece arrive?
Because of the current high demand and the care I put into sewing each fleece, it takes me 1-6 weeks to sew and post your fleece. You can find the estimated delivery time once it's been posted here.
 

I’d like to buy a fleece but they’re sold out. How can I buy one?
Sometimes, particularly in winter, more fleeces sell than I can physically sew (thank you!!). When this happens, I try to manage the demand by releasing a limited amount of fleeces twice a month. I will have a countdown at the top of my website where you can see the exact release time, as well as a link to the release schedule. 
 

I turned up for the drop but your fleeces sold out before I could buy one, what are some tips to be fast enough?
Between September - December the fleeces tend to sell out incredibly quickly (often in under 2 minutes!) I’m incredibly sorry, it must be very frustrating. I wish I could sew everyone a fleece! I recommend turning up five minutes before the drop time, knowing the exact colour and size you would like and having your payment method ready. Otherwise I really recommend buying a fleece between January - August.
 

Do you still sell hoodies, turtlenecks and kids hoodies?
Because the fleeces have been so in demand recently, I sadly had to scale down my collection. It meant I had to take away hoodies, turtlenecks and kids hoodies. I’m so sorry to disappoint anyone interested in these items! Hopefully I can bring them back one day.
 

I need my fleece by a certain date:
If you need your fleece by a particular date for a special reason like a birthday, you are welcome to write the date you need it by in the notes box in the cart and I will do my best to sew it on time.

Are your fleeces in any shops?
I’m afraid my website keeps me so busy that I haven’t ever had the time yet to sew stock for shops. There are so many beautiful shops out there that I’d be honoured to have my fleeces in, but for now I feel very lucky to be kept so busy from my website.
